I went searching on the internet for some place to talk about life with my mother and didn't find much. Therefore, I present to you, "My Bipolar Mother".
I know I'm not the only one out there, however there's no place to really vent about this stuff. Or just to find common ground with someone on the subject. So please...feel free to comment and start a discussion.
I plan on using this blog to tell stories of what it's like to grow up with a bipolar parent, in hopes that it can provide some help to others who have gone through this same situation. Some blogs may be angry, but please don't think I am bashing my mother. I know bipolar disorder is a serious problem that shouldn't be taken lightly.
However, I have little patience with my mother because, no matter how many times myself and family and friends have tried to confront her about it, she will never admit to being bipolar. Even though she fits every symptom perfectly and always has.
